The following tabs are offered, to our customers, as an overview of the many important aspects, the managed systems, and our relationship, in the use of water, and how conservation can play a critical part in extending the supply for future Texas generations.

Steps to properly read your water meter:

1) Locate your meter box. In most cases, this will be a black box in the ground between you and your neighbor’s home, close to the street.

2) Remove the lid and  read the white dials ONLY. In the picture shown, the meter reading is 10.

To calculate your water consumption subtract the last meter reading from the current meter reading.

Use your water meter to check for leaks:

1) Make sure no water is being used inside or outside of your home.

2) Look at the triangular dial in the photo, this is a leak indicator. If this dial is turning, you may have a leak!

The following articles are presented to you as helpful tips in conserving water, addressing unique day-to-day situations that may occur in your household, and insights to the very many aspects of our services and your water supply.
